Centre for Health Innovation Workshops

Putting the Person in The Centre requires good communication and sharing of information.

To determine what technology best suits your needs to provide optimal, patient centred care, you can now ‘try before you buy’, with fully functional technology in a safe, simulated "hospital to home" health environment.

Take the opportunity while you are at HIC 2008. Don’t just talk about technology, come and play with it at CHI.

Current hands on demonstrations include:

• Rapid roaming user sessions
• Role based communication
• Electronic Health Records
• Virtual meetings for multidisciplinary teams
• Simulation education for health professionals
• Smart paging systems
• Point of care devices

Small groups of up to ten people.

The first session is available on Sunday 31st August 2008  at 10.30-12 noon, further sessions at 8.30 am-10 am and 12.30pm- 2pm will be scheduled according to demand 

The workshop will be held at the Centre for Health Innovation at Level 4, Burnet Tower 89 Commercial Road Melbourne.  This is just a short taxi trip or tram ride away from the HIC08 conference.
