P Connect with Australian and international nurses currently involved in E-Health All in one dayBench to Bed: E-Health Supporting Nursing Practice offers a great opportunity for all nurses to share and enhance their understanding of the role nurses have in the current national and local E-Health agendas. We invite you to Canberra to share your research and practice experiences that aim to meet the needs of E-Health now and in the future. Call for PapersPaper presentations are invited that address current E-Health nursing research, practice, trends, developments, works in progress and that challenge existing practice are all welcome. All papers will be peer reviewed by a panel of national nurse informaticians and published in the proceedings. Presentations are expected to be for 20 minutes and 5 minutes for questions. WHEN: Tuesday August 18th 2009 WHERE: National Convention Centre Canberra ACT Abstract Submission: Abstracts outlining the paper to be presented related to the conference theme should be submitted via Email in Word (.doc) format along with contact details to contact@niaonline.org.au with "Conference Paper" in the Subject Heading. The 2009 Aged Care Informatics Symposium will be an important opportunity for health professionals, educators, researchers, informaticians, government and industry to share their knowledge, network with peers and be part of the movement to develop and realise a Vision for Aged Care Informatics for Australia and the Region.
'Developing & Realising a Vision for Aged Care Informatics for Australia and the Region' Plenary speakers and symposium presentations will centre on the ‘Vision' theme and highlight the advances made in the field, ‘where are we at', ‘what is needed' and ‘where are we going'. The symposium will have a busy program of plenary speakers, presentations, panel discussions and workshops on local, state, national and international experiences, programs and research. We invite you to submit an expression of interest briefly describing the presentation, academic paper or industry paper you would like to present. The 2009 Aged Care Informatics Symposium welcomes all people with an interest in aged care & the application of informatics in the sector to join us for this event.
