WHAT'S HAPPENING IN WA IN 2007
We have monthly events scheduled for 2007. These events are open to all and we wish to encourage members and non-members alike to attend these events and network with your peers and colleagues. Below and attached you will find the events calendar for 2007.
The year kicked off on 8th February with a networking evening. It was great to see so many new faces and to hear about your interests. The event was a large success and we had to kick people out at the end!
Our next event is "˜Avoiding the IT Tar Pit: Service-Oriented Architecture: A Health Care Perspective" on 8th March.
Of special note is the 3rd Health, Information & Technology, (HIT)WA Conference. Due to the success of the previous HIT(WA) forums and at the request of our members, the 2007 event will be a full-day event. Look out for the expression of interest soon.
And of course, Medinfo and associated conferences will bring the world of health informatics to our doorstep. We will also be hosting a series of workshops throughout the year and are currently accepting expressions of interest from attendees.
