Nursing Informatics Australia is a Special Interest Group of the Health Informatics Society of Australia (HISA) focused on nursing in the digital era.

NIA has led nursing informatics development for more than two decades in Australia and members are among Australia’s most forward thinking digital health practitioners.

Members are invited to nominate themselves or someone they know to the NIA committee and play an active role in the vibrant national nursing informatics scene.

The NIA AGM will be held on Sunday 6 August 2017 at the conclusion of the 2017 Nursing Informatics Conference at Rydges Southbank, Brisbane.

Nominations close at 7.00pm AWST on Friday 14 July 2017.

Elections will be held via e-voting and in person at the AGM. The official notice of the AGM, the agenda and nominee statements will be distributed on Monday 17 July 2017.

The Health Informatics Society of Australia (HISA) has merged with the Australasian College of Health Informatics (ACHI) to form the Australasian Institute of Digital Health on Monday 24 February 2020.
