The breakfast explored the latest in digital systems and emerging technology trends in perioperative medicine and anaesthesiology in hospital settings.

Dr John Ellingham FANZCA provided a reflection on clinical practice change and system implementations for perioperative systems. John took us back to the Templars in his presentation to highlight the changes still required in healthcare to get benefits from digital technology. A follow-up presentation was then provided by Stephen Fitzgerald CIO who discussed emerging technology trends and the requirements for health information systems now being provided from the cloud.

The HISA Breakfast event was proudly sponsored and supported by Getz Clinical.

Anyone interested in further events and professional development activities in Western Australia are welcome to contact the HISA head office or the HISA WA committee.
