A new Board member was appointed and three re-elected at the HISA AGM 2017 held during HIC.

HISA welcomes Dr John Lambert, Chief Clinical Information Officer, eHealth NSW,  to the Board. Dr Lambert oversaw the implementation of several NSW Health digital programs and recently expanded the capacity and scope of eHealth NSW, building a team of health informatics professionals. In his 12 years as intensive care specialist and critical care director with Western NSW Local Health District, he introduced new technology and helped Orange Health Service become a regional leader in clinical system efficiency.

Congratulations to three board members who stood for re-election and were successfully appointed:  Philip Robinson, Karen Gibson and Leigh Donoghue.  Dr Martin Seneviratne did not re-nominate and was thanked by the HISA Chair Dr David Hansen for his work with the board over the past two years.
