The first HISA Breakfast Series for 2017 was held in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane recently, sponsored by Datacom Health Solutions.

There was active discussion on a broad range of topics as we “Explored Digital Health Moving Ahead in 2017 – A person centred approach”.

Discussion topics included enabling digital health innovation, user centred design, clinical engagement, the My Health Record, organisational change programs and the health workforce. Guests heard from digital health leaders including A/Prof Chris Bain, Chief Health Information Services Manager at Mercy Health; Dr Martin Seneviratne, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital; Sue McCarthy, Chief Nursing Officer, Datacom Healthcare Solutions; Robin Mann, National Chief of Innovation, Little Company of Mary Healthcare and Alastair Sharman, CIO, Children’s Health Queensland HHS.
