HISA hosted the first of its HISA Breakfast Series for 2015 last week with a full house in Melbourne.

Titled Business Intelligence in Healthcare, the event highlighted the value of data analytics and business intelligence tools to the health system, supporting improved clinical decision making, delivering efficiencies and providing a more responsive and service oriented experience for patients and consumers.

International and national perspectives were shared with on-the-ground case studies. The key presenters were Paul Henderson, Head of Analytics EMIS, Prof Malcolm Pradhan, CMO Alcidion Corporation and Colin Hockaday, from Northern Territory Government.

Dr Louise Schaper said: “The HISA Breakfast Series continually proves to be popular within our membership and extended community.

“They provide great opportunity for thought leadership, knowledge exchange, professional development and networking. It is great to see such a broad gathering of leaders and professionals.”

Business Intelligence in Healthcare was proudly sponsored by Ascribe.
