Recognising years of commitment and service to Australia’s digital health community.

HISA has come a long way since its inception in 1992 and our first modest health informatics conference in Brisbane in 1993. It is a testament to the vision of those who established HISA and our founding members, many of whom are HISA members still, that our membership continues to go from strength to strength.

In the past 23 years HISA has grown to be Australia’s peak body for all things health informatics, e-health and digital health. Our fast growing membership is a broad church across the spectrum of healthcare.  Our broad and diverse stakeholder community includes clinicians, researchers, healthcare managers and executives, data analysts, designers, project managers, business analysts, technologists, innovators – and of course, health informaticians!

HISA seeks to recognise individuals who maintain their membership commitment and their active participation in Australia’s digital health community.  The Member Loyalty Program starts with awarding members lapel pins to acknowledge their time with HISA.  Bronze for 5 years membership; Silver for 10 years; and Gold for 20 years.

Eligibility – Individuals eligible for the Member Loyalty Program include: Individual ordinary members, honorary members, retired members and student members including years transferred to ordinary member status.  Organisational or affiliate membership is not recognised for the Individual Member Loyalty Program.
