WA clinical leaders will gather in Perth on November 4 with digital health experts from around Australia for the HITWA conference. Clinicians from Fiona Stanley Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital, as well as the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network will be strongly focused on opportunities for innovation. A workshop will be held looking at how start-up entrepreneurs, emerging research and a focus on data can make a real impact on health outcomes. Digital health entrepreneurs Dr Marcus Tan, from HealthEngine, Dr Martin Seneviratne, from Royal Prince Alfred and Kath Giles, from Brandon Capital Partners, will form a discussion panel to be followed by a workshop. Review the HITWA program.
HITWA is organised by the WA branches of not-for-profit professional healthcare organisations HISA and HIMAA.
