Combining my passion for nursing and interest in Information Communication and Technology (ICT) into a specialty.

I am a Nurse Director – Informatics who works with South Metropolitan Health Service, WA Health. I have worked in WA Health since 1990 and have held various senior nursing management positions over the years. Over the past 10 years, I have specialised in clinical informatics that is responsible for the planning and delivery of digital solutions that improve efficiency at hospitals. The most enjoyable aspect of his job is the ability to combine his passion for nursing and interest in technology into a speciality. I find it very rewarding being able to help nurses behind the scenes and helping them see how technology can help improve the patient care they provide.

I hold a Bachelor of Science (Nursing), Graduate Business Qualification in Leadership & Management and Master of Business Administration. I am one of the inaugural CHIA practitioners and an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM).
