Network with Australian and global digital health leaders when you attend, speak, present or exhibit during the HISA conference series. You be online or “virtual” a lot of the time but you can’t beat the experience of meeting up with colleagues and making new contacts face-to-face. It’s one of the main reasons members of the digital health community get together in person!
Remember, members receive discounted rates and there are special packages for organisations. See you there!
Health Informatics Conference
HISA Australia’s digital health community invites you to be part of our 25th year anniversary celebration at our annual conference HIC 2018 in Sydney from 29 July to 1 August. With delegates from all over Australia gathering to share the latest digital health research, case studies, trends and technology advances, HIC is Australia’s premier digital health, health informatics and e-health conference and expo.
HIC is the place for thought leadership: We bring together the latest innovations and research, practical case studies, and forward thinking towards a connected and joined-up health system. HIC 2018 focuses on connecting the system, being smart with data, and enhancing the practitioner and consumer experience in healthcare interactions.
Australian Telehealth Conference
Australia’s premier telehealth conference ATC 2018 explores the evolving world of virtual care with the emerging focus on design thinking and co-design in healthcare. This is your opportunity to network and connect with the Australian health leaders, innovators, designers and practitioners who are designing the consumer-centred healthcare system for the 21st century.
How can we improve the telehealth experience through the patient’s eyes? At ATC 2018 we will illuminate the patient experience through four major pillars of design thinking: Discovery, invention, prototype and delivery of scale. Design thinking is here and in telehealth it can build a bridge to take us from the current reality to a new future.
HISA is proud to announce that we will be hosting MedInfo 2021…

Health Data Analytics – using data to innovate and enable from community to tertiary healthcare – brings together Australia’s digital health innovators and community healthcare leaders who are using data to improve the safety, quality and efficiency of their health services. Building on the expansion of EMRs and MyHealth Record, last year’s conference focused on health data analytics to empower and enable healthcare in the community, primary, secondary and tertiary settings and provide a strong link to clinical research.
While hospitals and healthcare organisations are managing an unprecedented high volume of data, the Internet of Things is emerging on the horizon, constantly accessing and capturing information from health consumers. Opportunities exist like never before for the innovative use of individual and environmental data to improve healthcare services and health outcomes. Following on from the success of last year’s conference, with its strong focus on precision medicine, we will continue to translate health data analytics into the most practical applications and uses to improve wellness and healthcare for all Australians.
