Presented by Brendan Lovelock, Health Practice Lead, Cisco Systems
The Digital Hospital Design Community of Practice (CoP) has been operational for over 7 years and during this period its activity has focused on delivering a one-day event at HIC. When the CoP was first formed, the health sector was investing heavily in new hospital builds across Australia. At that time there was a need for the CoP to bring together a multidisciplinary group of informaticians, clinicians, engineers, designers and architects to influence the design of these physical buildings.
With digital health now the focus for infrastructure investment, there is a need to rethink the scope of the CoP; to step back and reappraise how the group can add value; how it can stimulate innovation for improving the care and productivity in our hospitals.
This online roundtable is looking to bring together a group of interested individuals keen to support the application of innovative information technology and processes within hospitals.
We hope that you can come along to the conference call and participate in a round table discussion on how we bring the group together in way that maximises the value HISA can add to the hospital community.
HISA webinars have been approved for up to 1 contact hour of continuing education credit toward renewal of the CHIA credential. Click here for more information on becoming a certified health informatics professional.
