A Little Bit Dave – Anatomy of the Blood Service Data Breach“. Laurie Joyce, IT Security and Compliance Manager, from the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, will take us through the well-publicised data breach that exposed sensitive personal health information at the Red Cross Blood Service. Laurie will share how the Service recovered from this breach, how they have improved their policies, processes and practice and the lessons for all healthcare organisations to improve information security.

  • Better understanding and awareness of the issues and security risks that are present in our organisations today.
