eHealth Clinical Documentation Specialist
We are recruiting to a position responsible for assisting with and significantly contributing to implementing and maintaining our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) which supports and enhances the world class services provided by the hospital.
In this role, you will facilitate the hospitals eHealth journey towards becoming paperless. By liaising with clinical and non-clinical staff, you will become familiar with and understand clinical workflows of the hospital and will translate this knowledge to EMR based workflow. The output will be an increased amount of documentation completed in the EMR instead of handwritten on paper. The intent of translating a paper based workflow to an electronic based workflow is to ensure the EMR enhances clinician productivity and clinical outcomes.
As part of the team, you will ensure the organisation complies with regulatory requirement and optimises the clinical experience of workflows when using the EMR. As well as an ability to apply clinical experience, technical skills and experience of creating electronic clinical documentation, especially with with Cerner Millennium, our primary tool is welcome.
